Rooted in the tradition that started it all, our spectacular fireworks display is the heart of the Redbanks Fireworks Festival & Light Show. Set against the vast, open country sky - free from city light pollution - the fireworks are more vivid, more immersive, and more spectacular than anywhere else. Growing in size every year - we can’t wait to show you what we have in store for 2025.

A spectacle of colour, movement, and atmosphere.
Set against the natural backdrop of Redbanks, this original light show fuses custom-designed projections with a bespoke soundtrack produced in collaboration with local artists. It’s an unexpected collision of elements: music, movement, and landscape, crafted to feel as wild and unfiltered as the setting itself.

Bringing fire, flow, and wonder to the Redbanks Fireworks Festival & Light Show, the spectacular Hobart Fireflies are a passionate local group dedicated to creativity, community, and the art of flame. Their mesmerizing performances blend movement, skill, and fiery spectacle, creating an unforgettable display that captivates audiences of all ages.

Sands Family Circus
Performance & Circus Workshops
Get ready for high-energy, family-friendly fun with The Sands Family Circus! Blending acrobatics, comedy, and interactive entertainment, you’ll catch them roving throughout the event, bringing their playful antics to life. Don’t miss their free circus workshop, where all ages can try their hand at juggling, balancing, and more!

Face Painting Artists
Free Face Painting
Transform into your favourite character with free face painting, included in your ticket! After the overwhelming demand for our face painters last year, we’ve brought in EVEN MORE talented artists to create stunning designs for all ages. This year, enjoy the magic from Alison (The Hedgehog Fairy), Vanessa (Funny Face Hobart), Leanne (Queen of Arts), and Veronika!

MAKE BELIEVE - On the Farm
Children’s Entertainment
A musical journey around the MAKE BELIEVE farm! Help feed the chooks, milk the cow, drive a tractor, round up the sheep, whistle to the dog, plant veggies & more.
A farmer’s daughter, Michelle Pears, is bringing the popular Tasmanian musical group for children, MAKE BELIEVE, to our 2025 Fireworks Festival & Light Show.
4:00pm to 6:45pm - Kids Village
Located in the Kids Village alongside our face painters, Sally Sunshine brings a mix of balloon creations and gentle bubble play. Her setup is all about lighthearted fun, giving kids a chance to stop, play, and enjoy something simple and hands-on between workshops and performances.
